It’s incredibly sturdy with a footprint small enough to be used in even the smallest of spaces. This fan isn’t just about keeping you cool, it’s powerful enough for other purposes as well.
Apart from being very powerful, Lasko have thought about safety with the 4900 Pro Performance. It sits on 4 very sturdy and well spread rubber feet so it cannot be easily kicked over. It also features a safety circuit breaker with a reset button so it’s almost impossible for this unit to cause an electrical accident. In addition you also benefit from two 120v accessory outlets.
Due to its size and the fact that Lasko has included an 8” heavy duty chrome handle, the 4900 can easily be moved around or used on an elevated surface. The air it produces is quite simply second to none. Fitted with 3 speeds and 315 degree pivotal head, you get cool air where you need it most.
What We Liked

What We Didn't Like
- Fan Noise
A number of consumers have complained the 4900 does make too much noise. Prior to purchase, it’s wise to remember this fan is primarily used for working environments and has not been designed for use in a bedroom.
After some time, the 4900’s motor may appear to lose power. It must be noted that the unit will attract dust and other large particles in the air, so maintenance is a must.
There is little to be said about the Lasko 4900 Pro Performance blower fan that can be considered negative. It delivers strong and cool blasts of air wherever it’s needed. It’s powerful enough to dry out wet carpets and areas where wet paint and glue might be present. It’s incredibly safe to use and is easily moved from one place to another.
