Air conditioning is great to have, but it can be quite expensive to run. This is why Lasko have brought the 2155A 16 inch window fan to the market, because power is what this fan is all about. With an airflow of 2470 CFM, it will easily make a room less stuffy and bring the temperature indoors down to a more comfortable level. Featured in white, it will fit windows from 26.5 to 34.5 inches wide and at least 22 inches high.
Lasko has thought about efficiency with the 2155A but they have thought about convenience as well. One of the biggest problems with many reversible window fans is the issue of poor weather, making its way inside the room. For this reason Lasko has fitted a storm guard feature which allows the user to close the window if it’s raining or excessively windy/p>
There are 3 whisper quiet fan speeds to choose from and on the exhaust setting this powerful little fan will quickly remove stuffy air from indoors out making for a more comfortable environment. The 2155A will cost hardly anything to run and uses far less electricity than traditional wall, central or window air conditioning units.
What We Liked
- Incredibly Powerful
With 2470 CFM, this powerful little reversible window fan will help create a more comfortable environment in up to 3 rooms.
- Energy Efficient
Compared to a traditional window, central or wall air conditioning unit, the 2155A will not break the bank in terms of electricity.
- Patented Storm Guard
Lasko has cleverly incorporated a storm guard feature that allows the user to close the window behind the fan.
- Whisper Quiet Operation
With 3 fan speeds, you will barely know the Lasko 2155A is working to keep the air in your rooms less stuffy.
- Ease of Use
Operating the 2155A couldn’t be easier. Fitted with a reversible motor it’s possible to choose the required setting with a quick twist of the dial.
What We Didn't Like
- Flimsy Construction
The housing with the 2155A is made from plastic and can seem a little flimsy under the weight of a window.
- Difficulty Using the Controls
Lasko has made the controls easy to use in that they can be twisted from the dial. However, some people with large hands or who are less nimble may have a problem using them.
Given the price tag of the Lasko 2155A, the manufacturer has done a very good job of bringing a medium sized window fan to the market that’s capable of moving a large amount of air (and quietly). The complaints about construction may be justified, however, considering the patented storm guard feature and energy efficiency, this powerful little fan is worth the money.Review by AirReflect ©
