Review Details
The best thing about the Fire Sense hater is the safety features. If you have a party in full swing or kids running around, there is a chance that the heater will get knocked over. This heater comes with an auto shut-off valve that will turn the unit off if it becomes tilted or knocked over. This is a great feature for any heater because it makes it safer to use than other heaters without this feature. Not only is it really safe to use, it is also nice to look at and fits in with any décor.
What We Liked
- Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is very durable and less prone to corrosion and staining. Since it is stainless steel, there is no need to worry about bringing it inside if it rains or snows. - Wheels
Anything that has wheels is convenient, especially for larger units like this one. Wheels make for easy movement from place to place. - Weighted Base
The weighted base gives the heater extra support. It will be less likely to get knocked over on accident and will help it stay standing if it is windy. - Gas Powered
The heater will continue to run, even during a power outage. There will also be no more wires to trip over or maneuver around while walking around your patio. - Auto Shut-Off
The auto shut-off is a great safety feature that turns the heater off if it becomes tilted or knocked over.
What We Didn't Like
- No Thermostat
No thermostat means that it only puts out one heat setting. Although there is only one setting, it puts out enough heat to make sure that 18 foot diameter space is well heated, making multiple heat settings unnecessary. - Height
The height may make it difficult for some people to store their heater. If this is the case, it could always be disassembled and put back together when it is needed.
Conclusion
The Fire Sense Deluxe patio heater has its disadvantages and advantages, more advantages than anything though. It does make for a nice heat source during those chilly nights out on the patio. Even though it is a bit pricey, it will still be well worth it when you are staying warm while other people are bundled up in sweaters and mittens trying to enjoy a patio party.
