The Dimplex Electric Stove is a heat source that is very user friendly. If you do not have a real fireplace but always wanted one, this is a perfect addition to your home. Not only does it look great, but it can heat a room as large as 400 square feet. This type of heater is beginning to replace traditional wood stoves because they are easier to use and do not get as hot to touch, and they are much safer and nicer to look at.
The Dimplex stove is a lightweight and portable heat source that heats a room like a wood stove would, it is made to look and heat up like a real fireplace. You can plug this in to any standard outlet and watch as the heatless flame operates. It is not hot to touch and safe for most rooms in your home. Although the Dimplex heats a large space, it is not recommended for smaller rooms.
What We Liked
- No dangerous hot surfaces
Heating sources like wood stoves are hot to touch, but this electric heater is cool to touch and safe around children and pets.
For an electric heater that looks like a fireplace, it is surprisingly easy to move because it is so light.
- Flame operates with or without heat
If you want the effect of a fireplace, you can turn the flame on with the heat. If you want to turn only the flame on without the heat, you can do that too.
- Plugs into any standard outlet
This means that your heater can be placed in any part of the room you would like.
What We Didn't Like
- Hard to store
It may be hard to store if the space is not big enough, but it still looks nice enough that you can keep it in your home, even when it is not being used.
- Not ideal for small spaces
This heater is capable of heating a 400 square foot room. If you put this in a smaller room, it may get too hot for your comfort.
The Dimplex is affordable and eco-friendly, there is no wood or oil needed for the heating source. It is cost effective and a nice replacement for traditional wood stoves which can be big and unsafe. If you want a user friendly heat source that looks nice, this electric heater fits in with any budget and décor.Review by AirReflect ©
